Fred Luk is the owner and operator of five successful restaurants in Toronto's Entertainment District. In 1984 Fred opened Filet of Sole, and soon followed with The Whistling Oyster, Fred's Not Here, The Red Tomato and most recently, Cha Cha Cha. All demonstrate Fred's reputation for creating innovative restaurant concepts, matched with eclectic and exciting menus. A director and past chairman of the Ontario Restaurant Association, Fred was awarded the Association's Restaurateur-of-the-year Award in 1994.
